Το Daidadi Gelato είναι από τις καλύτερες και πιο
γευστικές τζελατερίες (παγωτερίες) στην
Ελλάδα. Τα παγωτά Daidadi ,υψηλής γευστικής, κατά το υψηλής ραπτικής, τα απολαμβάνει κανείς στην Ερμούπολη της Σύρου.
Οι γεύσεις αυτές, αλλά και η αισθητική τους, ταιριάζει απόλυτα με την πανευρωπαικότητα
της πόλης και του νησιού. Και ένα από τα
ωραιότερα και πιο εύστοχα μότο που κυκλοφορούν για τη συγκεκριμένη τζελατερία είναι
δικαίως :

Basically, they love
ice cream. Not in a kiss on the cheek, holding hands sort of way – but in a
full on, snog your face off fashion.
So, they calculated that there were plenty of other
people out there who felt the same, and who would really like the idea of a
place where they could chill. A place with a great vibe, plenty of top tunes
and, of course, the most gorgeously great ice cream you could ever wish for.
The name was always going to be tricky. So they got a
few great minds
(e.g. their friends) together in a farmhouse in the middle
of the Italian countryside to kick around some ideas.
And what did they come
up with… a made-up word, that’s something to do with several dice, a nickname
for a loved one, and the Italian term for ‘oh come on!’ Okay, it doesn’t make a
lot of sense, but it sounded pretty good – and tastes even better!
In 1997, armed only
with a daring ice cream concept anda made-up name, they set about making our dream a reality.
They chose a fun and
funky colour scheme, and set to work painting the signs, the seats, the tables
– and even the cows!
And just as their collection of cute cows has grown, so has
their
reputation – as has the
number of people who just can’t get enough
of the delicious
DAIDADI stuff.
It’s not like they spent loads of cash on advertising either.
Locals and tourists just popped in, liked what they saw, dug what they heard
and, most importantly, loved what they tasted. Then they told their friends,
who told their friends, and so on.
And really it makes
total sense that the DAIDADI ice cream experience should grow by word of mouth.
