EUROVISION NORWAY 2015: MORLAND & DEBRAH SCARLETT TO VIENNA

The 2015 edition of Melodi Grand Prix had everything; an orchestra, 11 fantastic acts, lots of history and an audience that just kept giving. However, it all boiled down to finding Norway’s representative for Vienna who were Mørland & Debrah Scarlett with the song A Monster Like Me.

What a show! This year NRK decided to throw all its apples into one bucket with one spectacular broadcast from the Oslo Spektrum Arena. The venue that played host to the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest, also commerated the 60 years of the competition with many tributes during the night.

EUROVISION SWEDEN 2015: MANS ZELMERLOW TO VIENNA

It’s finally official Måns Zelmerlöw will represent Sweden in the 60th Eurovision Song Contest, as oikotimes poll, web polls and bets predicted the past few weeks. Despite the song is a clear copy of David Guetta’s entry and despite of his stage presentation been a copycat of Beyonce’s performance at the Grammys, it is the best choice for Sweden tonight.

WHAT HAPPENED@EUROVISION FINAL JURY REHEARSAL?

"The very important jury rehearsal of the final is on this evening and we eventually get the chance to see what tomorrow extravaganza will look like ! After the “Te Deum” we are being introduced to the Eurovision Song Contest with great memories from last year and Emilie’s victory. The next video shows Emmelie getting the trophy on stage and participants and people gathering from City centre to Eurovision Island. We then have a dance act with the flags of the 26 finalists and lots of acrobatics and pyros. Last year in Malmö we had the first flag ceremony ever to introduce all entries before the competition. This year, the flag ceremony is far less Olympic-like, and each participant enters the stage before a huge flag on the LED screen. That’s quite nice actually. After a few words and “jokes” from the 3 hosts, the competition starts."

The EBU has published the scheduled voting order that the 37 countries will announce their votes tonight, together with a list of the spokespersons. There are a number of names that will be familiar to fans of the contest, including several former participants. The voting order has been determined by the results from last night's Jury Final. An algorithm has been created to try and make the voting as exciting as possible.

Today MAD TV presented the four songs for the Greek National Final 2014 (Eurosong 2014 – a MAD show) after aired on DT (Greek National Television). The first phase of Oikotimes  Greek Europrediction 2014 concluded with more than 14,400 unique votes. Kostas Martakis was void as the favourite to represent Greece in Copenhagen with more than 55%. Today they’ re-launch the poll in which you anyone can  vote based also on the songs.

EUROVISION 2013: ΤΑ ΑΠΟΤΕΛΕΣΜΑΤΑ ΤΟΥ Α' ΗΜΙΤΕΛΙΚΟΥ, ΕΚΤΟΣ ΤΕΛΙΚΟΥ Η ΚΥΠΡΟΣ

Ο πρώτος ημιτελικός της φετινής  Eurovision επιφύλαξε μία μεγάλη έκπληξη για την Ελλάδα, αφού στο εναρκτήριο βίντεο πρωταγωνίστησε η Μύκονος! Στη συνέχεια ακολούθησε η παιδική εκτέλεση του Euphoria μαζί με τη Loreen επάνω σε μια ειδική πασαρέλα. Η παρουσιάστρια Petra Mede έδωσε εν συντομία τις σχετικές εισαγωγικές πληροφορίες και  το διαγωνιστικό μέρος της βραδιάς ξεκίνησε με την Αυστρία. Ακολούθησαν οι υπόλοιπες 15 χώρες και το καθιερωμένο interval act για να δοθεί ο χρόνος να συλλεγούν οι ψήφοι του televoting, μιας και οι ψήφοι των επιτροπών δόθηκαν από το βράδυ της Δευτέρας μετά την jury dress.

Το τελευταίο μέρος της βραδιάς περιέχει τη μεγαλύτερη αγωνία, αφού τα αποτελέσματα για το ποιες περνάνε στον τελικό περιέχονται σε 10 φακέλους που ανοίγουν ένας – ένας από τα χέρια της  Petra Mede…και δίνουν το εισιτήριο στις:

Οφείλουμε επίσης να σημειώσουμε ότι η Δέσποινα Ολυμπίου εκπροσώπησε επάξια την Κύπρο και ίσως είναι από τις αδικίες της βραδιάς ότι δεν κατόρθωσε να προκριθεί!!!

Ο ΚΟΝΤΟΠΟΥΛΟΣ ΜΕ ΤΟ ΑΖΕΡΜΠΑΙΤΖΑΝ ΣΤΗ EUROVISION

Ο Έλληνας συνθέτης και παραγωγός Δημήτρης Κοντόπουλος είναι πολύ πιθανόν να βρεθεί φέτος στη EUROVISION του Malmo με τα χρώματα του Αζερμπαιτζάν. 

Το τραγούδι του «Hold me» παρουσίασε ζωντανά στον τελικό του σώου «Big stage» ο Ferid Memmedov, ένα από τα ανερχόμενα αστέρια της χώρας και φαβορί να εκπροσωπήσει το Αζερμπαιτζάν στο φετινό διαγωνισμό.

Ο MARCO MENGONI ΝΙΚΗΤΗΣ ΣΤΟ ΣΑΝ ΡΕΜΟ ΚΑΙ ΕΚΠΡΟΣΩΠΟΣ ΤΗΣ ΙΤΑΛΙΑΣ ΣΤΗ EUROVISION

Ο Marco Mengoni  που κέρδισε χθες το βράδυ την πρώτη θέση στο Φεστιβάλ Σαν Ρέμο 2013 με το τραγούδι  "L’essenziale" επελέγη από την επιτροπή ειδικών της

Ο Mengoni έγινε γνωστός αφότου πήρε την τρίτη θέση  στην ιταλική έκδοση του X FACTOR, ενώ το 2010 απέσπασε το βραβείο Best European Act στα MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS. 

Μάλιστα ήταν ο πρώτος Ιταλός που κατάφερε κάτι τέτοιο. Όλες αυτές οι διακρίσεις μαζί με τη χθεσινή πρωτιά του αποτέλεσαν τα βασικά κριτήρια για να επιλεγεί από την ειδική επιτροπή. Να σημειωθεί πως τα τελευταία τρία χρόνια που έχει επιστρέψει η Ιταλία στο διαγωνισμό, ο εκπρόσωπος στη EUROVISION ανακοινώνεται πριν τα τελικά αποτελέσματα του ΣΑΝ ΡΕΜΟ, επειδή δε συνδέονται αυτόματα τα βραβεία του Ιταλικού Φεστιβάλ με τη συμμετοχή στη EUROVISION.
